This is an industry where there are more liars than in Washington.
It’s an industry where way more guys are legends in their own minds, than actual legends.
So, the only people that you should believe, are people who can show you proof that they’re who they claim to be.
For us, having been America’s premier sports information service since 1978, having finished on top in 394 national handicapping contests, and being the only two-time Las Vegas Sports Handicapper of the Year Contest Winners, that’s pretty easy for us to do.
Anytime we claim to have done something, we show you documented proof of that event actually happening in the form of a screenshot of a contest; an online writeup by a credible source like The Wall Street Journal; or something similar.
Online, surveys have shown that Google is the most trusted brand.
So, let’s tell you a bit about Google search, where they have captured 90% of the world’s search business.
Every wonder how you get an answer 1-2 second after you do a search? BTW, 57% of the smartphones in the USA are iPhones. While Safari is Apple’s default browser, iPhones also use Google as their search engine.
Regular Google search is “Dumb” Intelligence. Here’s how that works: Google has a crawler program called Google Spider. It searches every available page on every site in existence. It then grabs some keywords from each site. And then indexes those, and shoots them back to Google’s massive supercomputer array.
So, that 1-2 second delay in getting your search hits was the time it took for Google to search it’s own indexed pages.
But think about what that means. It means all regular Google search is doing is spitting back those indexed pages to you, without giving you a clue as to whether the info on the is useful or real or phony or crazy.
What’s the most expensive A.I. [Artificial Intelligence] project in Silicon Valley? Google A.I. This is being developed by Google’s Deep Mind Labs at a cost of $100 Billion.
Google A.I. creates artificial neural networks to replicate human thought but beyond-our-capabilities human thought. It learns and it thinks.
So, on top of each Google search result these days, you find A.I. Overview. And in the top menu, you see A.I. Mode. Google A.I. searches for a set of most trusted websites – some the absolute leaders in web traffic – that have your search term on their pages.
And then it does an analysis – way beyond our human capabilities in terms of scope and speed – and comes up with a summary in plain language for you. It has evaluated the truthfulness, or lack of that, of the data it’s looked at on those trusted sites.
So, what Google A.I. comes up with is the gold standard of Internet search.
If you won’t believe Google…who will you believe.
Our intention here is to knock your socks off, so pull them tight.
When you search for a term many of our potential clients might use, “Who’s the greatest sports handicapper of all time?,” here’s what Google A.I. says, in its own words…not ours:

Amazing. But, oh so true.,
We are the Sports Handicapping G.O.A.T.
The Greatest Of All Time.
And were that even before Tom Brady joined that club in the NFL.
But keep those socks on your feet…because if you look at our “G.O.A.T.” button on the top of any page, you’ll see that Google A.I. says we’re the Best Handicapper Of All Time is every single one of the sports we sell pick in:
Baseball

Basketball

Soccer

A few more words about this industry which sells sports picks. If you go to a list broker online, the guys who used to sell compiled mailing lists for snail mail, these days they sell compiled email or text lists segmented into every conceivable category.
And if you search for a list of people who claim to be sports experts who sell picks on the probable result of a game [who may call themselves sports services or sports information services or whatever terminology you search for], you’ll find that most list brokers can come up with somewhere around 10,000 names who qualify for such a list.
So, who are these 10,000+ so-called sports experts?
Well, the national handicapping contests we’ve entered over the decades generally seem to have somewhere between 100 and 300 or so entrants. Some may have a few more and some may have a few less, but that’s pretty much the average.
So let’s use the midpoint of 100-300 for a real. actual, documented handicapping contest that doesn’t operate with BS rules, where you have to submit your plays before the games go, and you can’t change them as they’re losing, and you have to live with the results, and may have around a couple hundred entrants, tops.
You may now ask the burning question: “So, if there are 10,000 so-called experts, why are only 200 of them in one of these contests? What happened to the other 98% of the so-called experts?”
The answer is pretty clear. The other 98% are usually the supreme legends in their own mind. These are the guys who claim that they win 70%, 75%, 80%. I’ve even seen people claim they win 90% of the time.
It does seem that the 98% non-contestants may lack cojones because to enter such documented contests, and then lose money as they often do, would expose these scammers for what they really are.
Losers.
Especially for the hard-working folks, who like that old Dusty Springfield song are just “Wishin’ and Hopin’” to win their bets, and sadly don’t do their homework by checking out the bogus, insanely ridiculous, and impossible to attain, claims that the 98% often throw out there on the Internet.
We’re very proud that we’ve been in business since 1978, and that we’ve done things that no one else has ever done.
Among them are these:
Two-time Las Vegas Sports Handicapper of the Year Contest winner.

The only documented handicapper to ever finish with over 70% win percentage [against the spread] in both the NFL Football and College Football full seasons in the same year.
No one else has ever done that.

We’ll leave you with this simple thought: We’re the Sports Handicapping G.O.A.T. because we win more than we lose.
That’s the simplest explanation and we can prove every single thing we claim.
